a body of work including exploration of photography, my infatuation with ecology & human connection + my forever love of words & poetry.

I am drawn to the places where life unfurls upon itself. The wrinkles around a grandmother’s eyes. A bee covered in pollen. Hands stained with soil. The way sunlight rests on skin. The conversation between a river and the stones it has shaped for centuries.

My work lives at the intersection of people and place. Between grief and praise… between light and soil… I am interested in the roots, rhizomes, mycelium, breath, weavings and skin that connect us… to one another, to the land, to our ancestors, and to the living world that breathes alongside us.

As a bodyworker, somatic guide, and lifelong student of ecology, I am leaning into photography as a practice of relationship rather than “capturing.” I’m experimenting with how the camera can become a way of listening to people, places and things… and inspiring stories to be shared. Opening the aperture to a way of remembering that we are not separate from the world around us, but expressions of it.

I seek to witness the beauty that already exists: the laugh lines earned through a life fully lived, the tenderness of human connection, the love stories, the intelligence of roots and rivers, natures wisdom, and the sacredness woven through seemingly ordinary and fleeting moments.

I am inspired by the thresholds of life… birth feeding life and life feeding death for things to be born yet again… cycles of change… while holding the memories that tether love in, a bit deeper.

I believe that everything is connected.
Photography & Poetry is one way I continue the practice of seeing it.
