ECOLOGY OF TOUCH

MASSAGE & BODYWORK

Trauma Informed, Integrative, Somatic Healing Arts.

Touch has always been one of our first languages

It is the understanding that the body is not a machine to be repaired, but a living landscape with seasons, histories, relationships, and natural intelligence.

Just as every forest, river, and meadow exists within an interconnected web of life, so too does the human body. Our muscles, fascia, nervous system, and environment are constantly influencing one another.

Long before we knew words… we knew the feeling of being held. We knew warmth, pressure, rhythm, and presence. Our bodies learned safety, relationship, and belonging through touch.

Ecology of Touch is an invitation to return.

I do not approach the body with the intention of forcing change… I begin by listening.

Sometimes the body asks for stillness.
Sometimes it asks for deeper therapeutic work.

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped receiving touch that held that kind of care.

Our culture often approaches the body as something to optimize, fix or push through. We disconnect from its signals, override its need, and begin relating to it as a problem instead of a living ecosystem that is always there for us.

Nothing exists in isolation.

This philosophy shapes why I offer bodywork.

Listening with my hands.
Listening to your breath.
Listening to your nervous system.
Listening to every twitch, shift, tightening, expanding…

Each session is unique

because every body

carries a different story.

My work weaves together integrative massage, craniosacral therapy, nervous system integration, myofascial techniques, Chinese medicine techniques following meridians and organ systems, energetic attunement, intuitive listening.

I believe that the years of study of different modalities and techniques inform my work deeply. They are doorways that allow for me to enter into relationship with the wisdom already present in your body.

I believe healing is deeply relational.
It happens in the quality of our attention.

In consent.
In pacing.
In curiosity.

In creating enough safety that your body no longer has to fight to be heard.

The Ecology of Touch has also been shaped by my 10 years of studying the body, trauma-informed care, massage, craniosacral therapy, Thai massage, somatic psychology, indigenous bodywork traditions, and time spent learning from the living world itself. Forests, rivers, fungi, pollinators, and seasons continually remind me that thriving is never an individual act… it emerges through relationship.

Our bodies are no different.

Whether you arrive carrying chronic tension, grief, transition, exhaustion, or simply a longing to feel more at home in yourself, these sessions are an invitation to slow down and listen together.
