St. John's Wort Seeds
A small packet of seeds harvested from the St. John’s Wort Plant in my garden.
These seeds are extremely tiny and each packet includes a “pinch” of them.
Start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost, or direct seed after.
- Surface sow, meaning you sprinkle the seeds over soil, gently pressing into soil, as light helps with germination.
- Seeds will germinate in 10-20 days.
-Ideal temp. is 60 F.
Tolerates most conditions, but has a moist preference, in light or sandy soil.
- Full sun to part shade
- Space plants 12-24 inches apart
-Plants may reach 1-3 feet tall and 1.5-2feet wide.
